Plants similar in appearance to many of the genus Allium (onions and garlic), but non-aromatic. Although also established in the southeatern U.S., it is generally only problematic as a lawn and roadside weed in California. The plants are easily spread from the many small bulblets which surround the main bulb. Look for the small 10 - 20 flowered umbel of white flowers subtended by two bracts 1cm - 2 cm in length.
